well, from my interpretation.
Also lyra=kotone. Kotone is her japanese name, I think it's a lot prettier than lyra so i used it.
This idea has been sitting in my head for ages and i just not got the un-laziness to draw it. Took forever though.

I like Kris since the first hour and I was shocked when she was replaced with Lyra (I don't like her design very much), but you gave a nice explanation how it happened.
Since Lyra can be cute I can see her and Kris being good friends. In my headcanon there are sisters and Kris is the older one.
