Please do not change your color once you pick it. Be very sure the ones you pick are the ones you want to make your Magi out of.
Also please hit ctrl+f and type in the hex codes you want to make sure no one else has recently claimed it. I am sometimes slow with updating the chart and do not have the hex codes memorized.

MAGI COLOR PICKER

Comment here to pick which colors you want for your Magi.

Pick a dominant color that is not already taken. That will rule your Magi's outfit. (Example: Pink for Madoka, Purple-y black for Homura, Yellow for Mami, Blue for Sayaka, and Red for Kyouko.) Essentially, it's the first color the viewer thinks of when they look at your character. If they think of a different color when looking at it, then you need to make changes to your avatar.

Pick a subordinate color. It's used to compliment the outfit, but should not strike the viewer as the ruling color. (Example: Peach for Madoka, black for Homura, brown for Mami, gold for Sayaka, pink for Kyouko.)

Your dominant color is the color of your character's Solus Gem.

You can have either the dominant or subordinate color for your character's hair.

Your character's eyes may be any color you wish, it is not restricted to dominant and subordinate colors.

You may use a SMALL amount of any other color on your character's outfit to accent things. (Examples are borders on clothing, frills, ribbons, belts, socks. Anything minor.)

Black and white are wildcards, or free colors. You may use a general amount of black or white in any outfit, as long as they are not mistaken for Gray. All the characters in Madoka Magica are good examples of how black and white should be used in an outfit.

Even though this seems like a lot of regulations, we're not THAT strict about it. It doesnt have to be perfect. As long as your dominant color is the first color we think of when we see your character and their hair is either your Dom or Sub color, your design is probably A-OK.

If a color is taken, you may NOT have it. If you are not sure, check a couple comment back before taking a color, because we do not always update fast enough. Whoever claims the color first will get it, even if we have not updated the image.

Why do we do this?

In Madoka Magica, all the girls were a different color. We can obviously not emulate that specifically since this is a large group RP, but instead we can try to make the shade and combination unique.
